Believe in Myself

If there is someone
to whom I can show my life
just as it is, transparently and honestly,
that would be a truly happy life.

Even if misunderstood
by countless others,
if there's one person
who loves and cherishes me,
life would still be joyful.

If there is someone
who offers a warm embrace
when I need a place to hide,
life would be peaceful.

We cannot be completely free
from the gaze of others.
Even if we try,
it is impossible to avoid misunderstanding entirely.

That’s why we should not strive
to be loved by everyone.

Just one person
who stands by us is enough
to give comfort.

But if you feel like
no one loves you,
then become that person
for yourself.

Look at yourself with warmth,
and say:
"I am a good person."
"I am a kind person."

No one understands you
better than yourself.

So don’t lie to yourself.
Speak honestly
to your own heart.

In this unclear, confusing world,
the one who can see you clearly—
is you.

Believe in that person.
Believe in yourself.
